REPOITIN (Recombinant Human Erythropoietin, (rHuEPO) Injection), a monomeric glycoprotein hormone consisting of a 165 amino acid polypeptide chain manufactured by recombinant DNA technology, has the same biological effects as endogenous erythropoietin. It has a molecular weight of 30,600 Daltons and is produced by CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary) mammalian cell lines with stably integrated human erythropoietin gene. The product contains the identical amino acid sequence of isolated natural erythropoietin.
REPOITIN is a clear, colorless liquid. The aqueous preparation exists in phosphate buffer of pH 6.6 to 7.4 consisting of sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, albumin human and rHuEPO, IP/BP/Ph.Eur.
Presentation: The product is available in single use vials containing rHuEPO at different strengths and fill volumes as outlined below.
